Wiregrams has been around for a long time. It was a huge selling trick thirty five years ago. It doesn’t get much attention these days, but it is a unique and visual trick. Very easy to perform. I always performed it in a particular way. It’s a great effect if you dip this straight wire into a cup of hot liquid like coffee or tea. More common is to hold a lighter by it for a couple of seconds. Those are perfectly fine. But I like to roll the wire into a small ball and wrap a little flash paper around it. That always gets a really strong reaction because the transformation is instant. But I’ve always used it with an ash prediction on my arm. So Wiregrams pairs really well if you use the Ash pen. The ash pen is another often forgotten gem of a trick. Simple and audiences love it. What I’ve added to the routine is Breastroke. Another perfect effect with Wiregrams and the Ash pen. A good seven minute routine that all three segway beautifully. All easy and all making use of one chosen card. And Breastroke gives you the ashes to do a spirit message on your arm.
