Trisection has nailed all three. It’s incredibly easy to perform, it’s very durable and a fantastic visual illusion. At first view of the demo I thought to myself, “Well I’ve seen attempts at effects like this before and they just come apart to easy and never handle smoothly. A playing card with movable parts doesn’t usually work out well. But Mickel Chatelain has created an outstanding effect. You will get countless performances over many years out of it. Sometimes I think the French get a bad rap. But hey…they gave us Monet, Renoir and Proust. And let’s not forget they gave us the Statue of Liberty! And now Mickel gives us Trisection. And it resets. I hope he is working on the jumbo card version for the stage. Get it, you’ll fall in love with it. Scale of 1-10. I’m giving it a 10. Vive la France. Robert Houdin would have loved it!
