We have once again collaborated with Terry to bring you his latest organic effect, The Frame.
In his previous releases, you'll notice that Terry often incorporates everyday objects into his routines, believing that a magician's character should appear as an ordinary person with extraordinary skills. The Frame is no exception and will surprise your audience even more.
You show a vintage pendant adorning your neck and borrow a ring from an audience member. The ring is noticeably smaller in diameter than the pendant. With a swift motion, the ring seemingly passes through the pendant, securing itself to the chain of your necklace.
No matter how the audience fiddles with it, they won't be able to take out the ring without removing the necklace from your neck.
The beauty of The Frame lies in its simplicity - there are no physical opening and closing mechanisms involved or pre-setups required. You can perform it anytime and anywhere, and even hand it over to the audience for examination.
The original design of The Frame was rectangular, surrounding a pendant shaped like a mechanical robot. However, Terry was later inspired by the Deathly Hallows from Harry Potter and modified the frame into a triangle to resemble the Cloak of Invisibility. The pendant features a magic wand, a quintessential wizard's item, and the audience member's ring represents the final missing artifact of the Deathly Hallows - the Resurrection Stone.
The Frame is crafted from 925 sterling silver with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship as real silver jewelry. The outer frame is engraved with ancient Babylonian-like cuneiform characters and has a worn and aged appearance to match the texture of ancient ruins. Additionally, the King of Diamonds is carved into the frame for a multipurpose reveal or prediction.

At the risk of making this review of The Frame a bit long winded. I think this effect truly deserves to have its many attributes listed. First I had to ask myself would I actually wear it, as I’m not one to wear jewelry and definitely not if it looks too odd or weird. When I opened the package and put it on, I immediately thought it’s not strange looking. Very simple, but interesting in a quiet way. Just interesting enough that people will notice it. Let’s face it we magicians, when we are not performing a show, would like to go out into the world and go about our day and perhaps do a little spontaneous magic. But it only usually happens if they already know that you’re a magician or you have to tell them that you are. The latter is not something I am keen to do. It’s a little awkward to start in that way. But the Frame opens the door. Just went to the dentist and the secretary immediately said “What an interesting pendant that is, what does it mean?” Happens all the time. I explain that it is the sign of the magician. They always ask “Are you a magician?” I always reply”No not at all, I just believe in magic”. “interesting, as you were admiring my pendent, I was admiring your ring.” Can I show you something interesting about your ring?” You see you’re in like Flint. There is no way the ring can fit over the pendent and yet it just melts right on and back off. Really strong effect. They almost always ask, “Can you do another trick for me?” I would love to but I don’t know any tricks. I said I only believe in magic. And now I think maybe you do to.
To do something really amazing and not claim to be a magician or even know any tricks is just the kind of mystique that really lights up their day. You can perform it anytime and anywhere. Completely examinable. No need to take it off, can be looked at from around your neck. Easy and no sleight of hand. You will master it in less time than it took you to open the package. Only con is do not wear it in water, could tarnish the metal. But I don’t think that’s a big inconvenience. And I shower twice a week, whether I need it or not! Go get The Fame! And wear well.
