Years ago. There was the classic Atomic Bulb which at the time looked like the common bulb, frosted. But it never looked quite right. From the stage it was fine especially as comedy and the method is now very antiquated. Using a piece of tin foil or paper clip to activate it. I don’t think anyone would have used it for closeup. Shine looks exactly like today’s bulb that is found everywhere. Which means you can do stage, comedy, children’s shows and serious or comedy close up. Extremely well made and a joy to use. Atomic bulb could never be used in the spectators hand. Now you have complete control over it being off or on. There are many directions you can take it in and combine with tons of routines. You’ll use it five minutes after you open the package. Very self working and self contained. Steve R.
