- The block is placed on a table (not leaned, like other methods). The performer concentrates and causes it fall over whenever he wants (no guessing and stretching your patter, like other methods). Block is again examinable and the routine is repeatable.
- You can even cover the block with a large jar or pitcher, so no one can suspect blowing or threads. The Block falling over in a 'chamber' looks eerie!
- For a different routine, raise goose bumps on your spectators when a "spirit" makes the block slide to the left or right, in a 'yes' or 'no' seance routine.
- Effects can be performed seated at a table, or standing.
- The block stands approx. 3.5 inches tall, 1.5 inches wide and .75 inches thick and has a natural, unfinished look.
- Comes complete with everything needed.

The PK Block has been around under various names and different versions. Some are better than others. Telekinetic
Timber is a favorite of mine, but PK Block is ideal for any routine involving telekinesis or a haunting approach. It’s completely examinable and looks like nothing but a piece of wood. The gimmick is undetectable. And it’s smaller than the TK Timber and even easier to do if you are new to magic and want to perform things like the haunted key. They all work well together. Many ways to present this type of magic. I think the strongest impact and probably the most creepy, ( hey people love creepy!). Is to talk about ghosts. First justify the props you throw out on the table. And I do hope the PK Block will be one of them. Tell your audience that the famous house on Long Island, the most famous haunted house in the world, “The Amityville Horror.” It was torn down because no one would live in it. The county auctioned off every scrap of wood from the house to raise money for the county and that’s how you acquired it. No matter where I perform this effect every one knows that house. I mean even in foreign countries they know. Ok I have an advantage in that I live about twenty minutes from Amityville. Better to live 20 minutes from a haunted house than an hour from my in-laws. Anyway say you bought the piece at auction with any other props you are using. This way you don’t have to start moving all kinds of other stuff that your audience starts throwing at you. But here is a really interesting question to ask your audience. Don’t ask who believes in such things. Ask who doesn’t believe in spirits. Don’t take the approach that this won’t work unless you believe. Tell them it almost never shows any results when you are a believer. Spirits prefer to make them selves known to the those who don’t believe. So anyone who has even some doubt could you move closer. I don’t want you to believe or change your mind, in fact I want you to embrace your doubt and disbelief. If there is anyone else who has even a small doubt come closer. The more disbelief the more we will likely see a sign. Perhaps those who pass on and have trouble passing over and remain earth bound were ignored in this world. Maybe they were pushed aside, never feeling acknowledged, never feeling like they matter. So they do not send signs to those who believe. Only to those who don’t. I’ve never seen a sign of violence or with anger. Just a sign that they are here and would like to be acknowledged. That they exist. Try it this way and look at their faces when that block starts moving. Just don’t make it move too much. Just a little shimmy here and there. A little bit goes a long way. Get a PK Block so you can start practicing for Halloween. Steve R
Hi Steve, Love how simple this looks! Just a piece of wood! Love the idea of Amityville! That's fun! What a great idea. The idea of encoraging skeptics to come closer is brilliant! Just love that! Your advice on don't move it too much is also spot on! Make it look hard! Thank you so much for your terrific reviews! - Ron Teitelbaum
