I use the flash paper on the first day of school. I teach chemistry and I love surprising my students with a little magic. They loved it!
The product arrived in a timely fashion and it was great quality.
HI Carole, Thank you for your review! You are just the sort of teacher I loved when I was in school!. I wasn't a great kid, I learned to make gun powder when I was probably 11 years old. SO I made a little batch and put it across the top of the stairs and lit it when the girls came up. It went Poof and the girls yelled and giggled. It was a different time then, now I would probably get arrested. A friend of mine got one of those huge strings of like 10,000 firecrackers. It's like a big dragon head with a really long tail of like 10 across firecrackers woven in. He put it up on a fence and lit that in the school parking lot. When it went off it threw the teachers into a frenzy, some trying to figure out if they could stop it from all going off, but in the end decided to let them continue. Better than having a bunch of unexploded firecrackers to deal with. They kept going off for about 10 minutes, and there was a river of firecracker paper that filled the parcking lot. Yeah we weren't great kids. I'm so glad your class went well! Thank you again for your great review. Keep your chemicals well locked up! - Ron Teitelbaum
After a quick response from TNT with further instructions I’m changing my review to 4 stars. After drying the paper as advised it did work as needed. The paper I’ve purchased in the past has not required any drying - but it was purchased point of sale and perhaps the wet process is due to mail order requirements. Thank you, TNTMagic, for your response and instruction. I’d just advise including those instructions with the shipment.
Hi Neil,
That is a good idea. I'll work on making sure people are aware of the drying requirements for flash paper. Thank you very much for supporting TnT Magic! ~ Ron
This is by far the worst flash paper I have worked with. There is absolutely no flash. The paper was sopping wet in every pack I purchased. Some would not burn at all and the rest smoldered at best.
Hi Neil,
I'm very sorry you didn't reach out to us and for the trouble you had with the flash paper! I would have told you that flash paper ships wet for safety. You need to take out the flash paper you are going to use and let it dry out for a full 24 hours. Any left over flash paper that you are storing should be stored wet, if it starts to dry out you can add some distilled water! Leave the flash paper out, in a safe place with no heat source or wind (so it doesn't blow away), then use it carefully after it dries out in 24 hours. You can reach us anytime if you have any questions at info@3dicc.com. Drop me a line and I'll give you a discount if you want to purchase more to make up for the problems you had!
Used for years. Great product!
Hi Michael, Thank you so much for your review! Have to love flash paper! It's so much fun. Brings out the kid in me! ~Ron Teitlebaum
